This issue, Chris Garcia and James Bacon write about Old School Punk, from The Avengers to the Stranglers, London to LA. It's the first of two-Punk issues (the next one coming in Summer 2021) and the longest issue in a good long while!!! Coming deadlines! The Ska issue - February 10th The Bigfoot Issue - March 29th The Ghosts issue - May 5th The UFOs issue - July 1st Punk Rock 2 - August 1st The Water Monsters issue - September 15th The Mothman issue - October 21st |
The Murders of Nancy & Daniel Benoit
The hardest issue of Claims Department ever takes a look at the darkest hour in recent wrestling history, and discusses everything from the crime itself, the possible motives, the potential cover-ups, the stupid conspiracy theories, and perhaps most importantly, how we view a Monster's non-monstrous deeds.
The next three issues are going to be a lot lighter. August (likely) will be the Abstract Expressionist issue (aka Chris will also be painting!) and then for the Fall, it's Punk! After that, the last issue of the year will be the National Video Registry! |
